This is where I share the adventures my 2 year old has in New Zealand and around the world.
Patricia has been 'diagnosed' with Global Developmental Delay which means she has delays in multiple areas. For her, she has low vision and is delayed in gross motor, fine motor, and speech.
She is a right little character who loves cuddles and tricking Mummy and Daddy into thinking she's asleep when she's still awake.
We go on adventures around our own country and plan on going overseas with her in the future. I want to document how easy/hard it is travelling with a special needs child. I'll review different places that we go, airlines, accommodation, and how we adapt things to Patricia's needs.
I'll also update on her progress as time goes on and different activities that we throughout the week.
Life with a special needs kid comes with it's challenges but we're going to do all the things we planned on doing before her arrival - just perhaps with a different twist to them.
Please feel free to leave a comment with any questions. I'm more than happy to answer.
